About Me

Get To Know Aliza

My love for stories began when I was just 3 years old, learning phonics with Phonics with Robot Reg. By nursery, I could already write my name and simple words — and in Year 1, I amazed everyone by teaching myself to read independently in just three months!

My writing journey began long before I ever held a pen. At just 3 years old, I joined the Phonics with Robot Reg programme — and that’s where my love for words truly started. By nursery, I was already writing my name and simple words. But the real magic happened in Year 1 when, in just three months, I taught myself to read completely on my own! That moment filled my family with pride and gave me the courage to dream even bigger.

As I grew, I discovered that stories weren’t just something I read — they were something I could create. I loved imagining new characters, exciting adventures, and magical places. Slowly, page by page, I began to build worlds of my own.

At 6 years old, I turned one of those worlds into my very first published children’s book, Ella and the Whispering Shell. Writing this story was not always easy — it took patience, creativity, and lots of rewriting — but every step of the way felt special. The day I held my book in my hands was a dream come true, because it showed me that even the smallest voices can create something big and beautiful.

For me, writing is more than just putting words on paper — it’s about sharing kindness, friendship, adventure, and imagination with the world. And this is only the beginning of my journey as an author.
